As the regular season draws to a close, I would like to take a moment to thank all of our incredible volunteers, coaches, and parents who have once again made this club such a privilege to be a part of. Your time, commitment, and passion are what make everything we do possible, and it does not go unnoticed.

As we move rapidly into tournament season, I encourage everyone to visit our shopping site for all your essentials — from camping chairs through to gazebos and everything in between. Being prepared will help you make the most of what is always an exciting and memorable period for our players and families. WJFC Offers

Success Across the Club

Every age group has enjoyed its own successes this season, which is fantastic to see. In particular, within our older and more competitive age groups, we have celebrated numerous semi-finals, finals, and even some silverware.

A special mention must go to our double-winning U15s — a fantastic achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of both players and coaches. Congratulations to them, and to everyone across the club who has contributed to such a positive and successful season.

WJFC in the Community

We continue to be incredibly proud of the role WJFC plays within the local community. Over recent months, I have met with a number of local businesses and charities, and I’m hopeful that we will begin to see the benefits of these relationships as we move into next season.

If you have any ideas on how we can further strengthen WJFC’s presence in the community, please do get in touch — your input is always welcome and greatly appreciated.

Lastly, if you’re free tomorrow, the newly formed WJFC Village Cup team will be in action against K&Q at 3pm at the Witchell. Please do come along and show your support — if nothing else, you’ll be treated to some bang average cricket!

Tournament Season

As I’ve mentioned a few times now, our teams have been working incredibly hard, and tournament season is quickly approaching. This is the point where we really need everyone’s support.

Volunteer portals and WhatsApp messages will be circulating soon, so please do make yourself available and get involved in what is always an amazing event for the club.

There’s even talk of us having a bar this year… so it promises to be bigger and better than ever!

Have a Great Bank Holiday!

Paul
