I am honored to introduce myself as the new Chairman of Wendover Junior Football Club. My name is Paul Sitzberger, and I am excited to continue working with our dedicated team of volunteers who are committed to fostering young talent, teamwork, and a love of the game.

Firstly, a huge thank you goes to Rob, who has led us for the past 10 years. Under his leadership, the club has achieved remarkable growth and progression — with the transition to the 3G pitch being just one of many significant milestones.

I would also like to introduce Martin Williams and Richard Preece, who have kindly combined to take on the Club Secretary role. A massive thank you also goes to Nick Lanning, who has diligently served as Club Secretary over the past 10 seasons.

We currently have some important positions available within the club, including Treasurer, Social Secretary, and Kit Manager. If you are interested in contributing your skills and time to support the club’s ongoing success, I encourage you to get in touch. While these roles are important, they are not overly time-consuming. However, having more volunteers involved makes the workload lighter and helps the club run more smoothly. The club is truly a sum of its parts, and without willing volunteers, it cannot operate effectively. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps us continue providing a positive environment for our young players.

Together, we will build on our successes and create new opportunities for our players to excel both on and off the field. I am eager to serve this fantastic club and look forward to meeting many of you in the coming months.
