Wendover Junior Football Club

The U6 Cubs are the youngest members of the Wendover Junior FC family and provide the first opportunity for children to begin their football journey with the club.
At this age, the focus is on fun, friendship and developing a love of football through engaging training sessions and games. Players are introduced to the basic skills of the game in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where confidence, teamwork and enjoyment come first.
The Cubs play with enthusiasm, energy and imagination, taking their first steps in the sport while building the foundations for future development both on and off the pitch.

Our sessions last one hour every Saturday and are designed to improve your child’s

• Social Skills
• Develop their imagination & creativity
• Help develop counting, colour and shape recognition
• Improve balance and coordination through dynamic movements
• Develop kick, throw and catching skills
• Develop spatial awareness

Sessions are open to children in Reception and late starters to football in year 1.
