This showpiece final is the team’s reward for a season of hard work and fine results, finishing their league games in first place.
The final is all the more special for the fact that this same team were promoted at the start of this season, having also won the corresponding final in the division below last season. Victory will see them lift a trophy once again, and see them promoted to the Red Division (Div 1) in their first season in the Wycombe and South Bucks Minors Soccer League next season.
It has been a season packed with goals and gritty defensive displays.

Fred has been a force of nature in goal, his steely presence diffusing confidence throughout the team with every flamboyant save.
In defence, George, Ernie, Elliott and Orson have developed a cultured understanding between themselves, working the offside trap while stepping up into midfield when the opportunity presents itself. Leo has been missed with his ongoing injury problems.
The midfield has revolved around the powerful physicality of Nate and Calum, with Louis, Toby and Leo offering speed, precision and the fancy footwork to open up the opposition on countless occasions.
Upfront, Reuben has been a revelation, netting goals from all over the park in nearly every game he has played.
The team will look forward to playing Pitstone again in what will be their 5th match up of this season, with Wendover edging their record so far W2-D1-L1. But in a final they’ll have to be at their best as anything can happen and probably will.
