Another good weekend for WJFC, kicked off by Minis and Juniors swarming all over the 3G, all supported by our wonderful volunteers making sure the coffee and breakfast rolls are on hand to keep the parents happy.

Off the pitch, the committee has been busy. There are lots of updates below, but I’ll keep it brief for now. If you’d like any further information, please feel free to message me or catch me in the clubhouse.

Volunteers – We still have good numbers of volunteers keeping us going, but we are always looking for new helpers to share the workload. All skill sets are welcome! Current open positions are Tour Manager and Social Secretary. Any interest please let me know.

Sponsors – We now have a sponsorship brief that we can share with potential sponsors. This covers everything from possible kit sponsors through to equipment and storage. If you’re interested in sponsoring or know of any opportunities, please do contact me and we can discuss further. As you can see below, we have already welcomed two new sponsors on board: SKA Plumbing and Wright Builders Ltd.

Girls Football – Girls Football is now back up and running on Tuesdays from 6–7pm, delivered through our partners at BASE, who provide excellent professional coaching. We are still on the lookout for an Age Group Manager to help take this forward.

Cubs Football – Do you know any up-and-coming coaches who would be interested in coming on board to help run our Cubs program? Unfortunately, BASE doesn’t have the resources available for this, so we are looking to move this in-house.
